The SMC CDG1DN50-80Z1-Q-A93Z is an air cylinder from SMC’s CG1 Series, designed for industrial automation. Here’s a breakdown of its specifications based on available information and SMC’s naming conventions:
- Series: CG1 (Standard Type, Double Acting, Single Rod)
- Model: CDG1DN50-80Z1-Q-A93Z
- C: Magnet built-in for auto-switch capability.
- DG1: Standard round tube air cylinder.
- DN: Direct mount, non-rotating rod.
- 50: Bore size of 50 mm (piston diameter).
- 80: Stroke length of 80 mm.
- Z1: Likely a special or custom suffix (not standard; may indicate a specific configuration or region-specific variant).
- Q: EU compliance or specific regional marking (common for SMC products in certain markets).
- A93Z: Auto-switch type, specifically a reed switch (A93) with a longer lead wire or specific mounting (Z suffix often denotes custom switch configurations).
Key Specifications (Based on CG1 Series):
- Type: Double acting, single rod (uses air pressure to extend and retract).
- Bore Size: 50 mm.
- Stroke: 80 mm.
- Mounting: Direct mount (suitable for space-constrained applications).
- Non-Rotating: The DN configuration ensures the rod does not rotate, ideal for applications requiring precise rod orientation.
- Material: Aluminum tube for smooth operation and low break-away pressure.
- Pressure Range: Typically 0.05 to 1.0 MPa (7.25 to 145 psi) for CG1 series.
- Piston Speed: Up to 1000 mm/s (depending on load and conditions).
- Auto-Switch: A93Z reed switch for position detection, likely with a longer lead wire or specific mounting.
- Cushioning: Air cushion or rubber bumper options (configurable; check specific model for details).
- Operating Temperature: -10°C to 60°C (without auto-switch) or 0°C to 60°C (with auto-switch).
Applications:
- Used in automation for tasks like pushing, pulling, lifting, or clamping in industries such as automotive, IT, and manufacturing.
- The non-rotating feature is ideal for applications requiring consistent rod alignment, such as in fixtures or positioning systems.
