SMC MHM Series Magnet Gripper
The SMC MHM Series is a pneumatic magnetic gripper designed for handling ferromagnetic workpieces (e.g., steel, iron) with high reliability, especially for uneven, porous, or perforated surfaces where vacuum grippers are less effective.
Key Features:
- Holding Force: Up to 1000 N (Ø50 model, 6 mm thick workpiece) or 120 N (MHM-X6400, 1.4 mm thick), adjustable via bolt or bumper.
- Safety: Maintains grip without air supply; residual force ≤0.3 N for quick release.
- Sizes: Piston diameters of Ø16, Ø25, Ø32, Ø50.
- Mounting: Flexible options (body tapped, lateral, central); auto switches on 2 (MHM) or 4 (MHM-X6400) surfaces.
- Cobot Compatibility: UR+ certified for Universal Robots (UR3e, UR5e, UR10e) with URCap plugin for easy integration.
- Special Features: Rubber buffer prevents sliding; replaceable pads; MHM-X7776 model avoids double-workpiece attraction.
