1. Overview
The SMC CY3B-Z series is a magnetically coupled rodless cylinder. Instead of a piston rod, the piston inside the tube is coupled to an external slider through strong magnets. This design eliminates the need for a projecting rod, reduces air leakage, and saves installation space, especially in applications requiring long strokes.
